Wednesday evening sees Rhydymwyn FC kick off their inaugural season in the newly structured LockStock Ardal North West league against Brickfield Rangers.

Over 500 days since their last league fixture, Anthony Weaver and Jordan Parry’s side come into the game in good form following successful qualifying wins in the JD Welsh Cup and FAW Amateur Trophy.

The match kicks off at 18:45pm at Rhydymwyn FC, with spectators welcome and Covid rules applying – parking is available at the ground and on-street.

Ahead of the game, managers Weaver and Parry said:

Our last competitive league fixture feels like a lifetime ago, but at the same time just yesterday.

That night, we lost out and were fired up to come back strong, and although we never had the chance to, our lads have never lost their desire and determination in the face of lockdowns and long periods where we couldn’t train.

Brickfield are the type of well respected and established third tier club which we need to show we can challenge, so we’re relishing tonight’s opportunity to officially kick off our tenure in the LockStock Ardal North West.
